Why not do it all? Semantic HTML with graph tags, no required JS and a component framework with a build server. I like SvelteKit with SSR but it can also be Rails, Django, Laravel, or something new like Loco.

I don't care about simple. I care about fast. For users, myself, teammates and OpenCode. If you go strictly zero build you will have to copy paste and make your pages inconsistent, or introduce client side JS which is exactly the thing making sites slow.

The enemies are React and Electron/CEF. If you avoid them you're on the right side.
