I made this game to help me with media literacy. View it like Wordle but for fake news.

I would appreciate your honest feedback since I'm serious about making it way better.

Maybe reading a book or two about media literacy might help you more? It’s a very well studied area. There is lots very basic things about identifying and analysing health claims that is in the public health sector too. Maybe look for a university that has their critical reasoning or introduction to academic writing courses online and look at the course readers.
All of this will help you more than tweak coding a flash card app with an llm.

It just kept going and going and I was quite confused as to when it was going to give me any feedback, but I guess so was just getting them all right and there's no clear feedback in that case?

Fun game, but I agree with senectus1, it's a bit clunky on desktop

I like it, its a bit clunky on the desktop though. the real and fake took me a while to find on a big high rest screen.
I'd appreciate better formatting of the blind spot and "you got it wrong" results.
I feel like this is less about news and more about urban legends and old wives tales.
would be very interested in seeing this become more contemporary and up to date with more recent events.

I like the concept, but it needs more interesting content. I was actually confused for a few rounds.
As soon as I realized it's just a game of trivia and "spot the AI image/video", my scores improved dramatically. It's like a switch flipped in my brain and I stopped overthinking these.
It seems like that's the opposite of what you intended?
